  • Soil stress index at planting as a function of soil physical and chemical properties: Mpumalanga, KwaZulu/Natal.
  • Site burning sensitivity index and prescriptions in relation to site parameters.
  • Optimum planting window as a function of soil and climatic conditions.
  • Detailed site requirements for commercial forestry species in southern Africa.
  • Validation and characterisation of climatic, edaphic and lithological conditions per individual plantation land unit for site specific silvicultural management: Mpumalanga, KwaZulu/Natal, Eastern Cape (South Africa).
  • The identification of sites suitable for seed orchard production: KwaZulu/Natal (South Africa).
